Among the 37 submitted works, the jury consisting of Nina Šenk, Jorge Gómez Elizondo, and the musicians of between feathers and Trio Tempestoso selected the following works:
AUSTRIA Katharina Roth: Verwobene Linien – gesponnene Fäden (acc, vc)
Jeeyoung Yoo: Le mura di gerico (sop, vc)
Emre Sihan Kaleli: I am a Diptych (cl, acc, vc)
Víctor Morató: im kopf (cl, perc, acc, vc)
SLOVENIA Vili Polajnar: Crimes of Love (sop, cl, perc)
Uroš Rojko: Odtekanje časa IV (bass fl (also piccolo) and bass cl and samples from two smartphones)
The selected works will be performed on November 13, 2023, in REAKTOR in Vienna in the framework of Wien Modern and on November 18, 2023, in Slovenian Philharmonic in Ljubljana in the framework of the accompanying programme of Ljubljana New Music Forum.
The project is organized by the Austrian Section of the International Society for Contemporary Music and Slovenian Cultural and Information Centre in Vienna in cooperation with Wien Modern and Ljubljana New Music Forum.
